Individual Healthcare Coverage
(Affordable Care Act – Under 65)

Examples of a Special Enrollment Period:
- Getting married
- Having a baby, adopting a child, or placing a child for foster care
- Losing health insurance coverage due to filing for divorced or legally separating from spouse
- Leaving a job and changing to a company that does not offer health insurance
- Losing Medicaid or CHIP coverage
Medicare Coverage
(Ages 65 & Older)

*** You must already be enrolled on a Medicare Advantage plan to qualify for the Medicare Advantage Annual Enrollment Period from Jan 1st – Mar 31st. ***
Examples of a Special Enrollment Period:
- Qualifying life events
- Release from incarceration
- Change in your plan’s contract
- Becoming eligible for extra help for Part D
- Leaving employer coverage (20+ employees) after 65 years old
- Loss of Medicaid
- Natural disasters/FEMA emergencies
- i.e hurricanes
